Ryan Jardine Wins Omaha Business Award

Wow! What a great way to close out 2012. On Friday, company president and owner, Ryan Jardine, was presented with a “40 Under 40” award by the Midlands Business Journal. The award recognizes entrepreneurs, executives and professionals in Omaha, Council Bluffs and Sarpy County who are under the age of 40.

The winners are selected based on their contributions to their businesses and to their communities. According to the special supplement published by the MBJ, “In the selection process, judges were mindful of examples of innovation and risk-taking by entrepreneurs.” With executives, “judges searched for examples of effectiveness and leadership shown by men and women working within a framework of bigger organizations.”

Some 140 candidates were nominated for the awards and it is the eleventh group of young leaders to be named. Prior to the award breakfast, which was held last Friday, December 14th, Ryan was asked by the business publication if he had a customer service story that stood out in his mind. He replied,

“I don’t have one specific story but I’ll tell you that I get a lot of personal satisfaction from helping our customers, and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the majority of them. We serve people of all ages and lifestyles: singles, couples, families, single moms, seniors, as well as business owners and property managers. In every single instance, we are helping to make their lives easier by eliminating a ‘chore’ for them and giving them more time to focus on what or whom they care about most. That’s something of a mission for me.”

Congratulations to all of the award winners! And a big thanks to the Midlands Business Journal for continuing to sponsor and promote business leaders in the area.
